    This 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited FWD is a midsize crossover that blends comfort, tech, and just enough Jeep branding to make people think you go off-road occasionally. You dont. Thats fine.

    Its powered by the 3.2L V6 paired with Jeeps excellent 9-speed automatic, which is the right drivetrain for this vehicle. Smooth power delivery, decent passing power, and far better manners than the base four-cylinder. Fuel economy comes in at 20 MPG city and 29 MPG highway, which is respectable for a V6 in this segment.

    Finished in Sting Gray Clearcoat with a black leather interior, this one looks upscale without trying too hard. The Limited trim actually matters here. You get premium leather-trimmed bucket seats, heated front seats, heated leather steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, power driver and passenger seats, and a clean, well-insulated cabin thats quiet at highway speeds.

    Tech is solid and intuitive. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Uconnect touchscreen, Bluetooth, navigation, and a surprisingly good audio system. Jeep finally figured out infotainment by this generation, and it shows.

    Safety coverage is strong. Youre getting blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, ParkView backup camera, rear parking sensors, traction and stability control, and multiple airbags throughout the cabin. This isnt a barebones grocery getter.

    The added power sunroof, upgraded axle ratio, and V6 engine pushed the original MSRP to nearly $36,900, which explains why these still hold value better than people expect.

    This Cherokee isnt pretending to be a Wrangler, and thats a good thing. Its comfortable, confident on the highway, capable in bad weather, and genuinely easy to live with.

      I like the 2.0 Turbo engine. Has plenty of pep and torque to get around. The Jeep is solid, no rattles or squeaks. Although I have no intention of doing the off-road in those occasions when I have driven in snow and even mud it has performed very well. Since I mostly only drive in town now the mileage is usually 24-36 mpg. What keeps it from a five is the touch screen which controls the radio/entertainment. It will reboot at random times, and sometimes more than twice.…
